The concept embraces the digital-age influencer market, which allows people to become brands with large followings. And it plays off the need for an element of surprise during an age when everything is at our fingertips (see: Beyonce's covert launch of her self-titled album in 2013). But the biggest sell? The exclusivity. Though it's not the same "fast fashion" you may have rocked back when you shopped at West Seal, you do have to think on your toes. The influencer lines are limited editions, and collections are around for a matter of hours.

What is Amazon's The Drop?
The Drop is Amazon's in-house fashion line. Launched in 2019, The Drop is a series of limited-edition lines designed by influencers with large social followings. New lines come out every couple of weeks and are only available for 30 hours — if they stick around that long. It's not uncommon for pieces to sell out in a matter of hours. The Drop's staples line is around permanently (ish). It launched in 2020 and stocks wardrobe essentials that help you build a better outfit.
What Time Does The Drop Launch?
Influencer launches on The Drop aren't as shocking as Beyonce's super-secret surprise album. The retailer and influencers will give you a heads-up, though there's no set time for launches.
