Detective Liz Danvers (Foster) is the women hired to figure out just what's going on—but a curveball is thrown at her when she finds out she'll be partnering with Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis). The two clearly do not like each other—and whether they have a dark history together or not will be touched on. Still, a job is a job, and this is a pretty serious case—so they must learn how to work together without jumping at each other's throats 24/7.

Who is in the cast of True Detective: Night Country?

The cast is an impressive one! We already know that Jodie Foster is leading the series as Detective Liz Danvers alongside Kali Reis as Detective Evangeline Navarro.

Foster won not one, but two Oscars (both in the Best Actress category) for her roles in The Accused and The Silence of the Lambs. She also recently starred in the 2023 biopic, Nyad. Reis is an actress and former world champion American boxer! She has had roles in Catch the Fair One and Black Flies.

The rest of the cast includes John Hawkes, Aka Niviâna, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Anna Lambe, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star Lablanc, and Joel D. Montgrand.
