Sheryl Sandberg and Tom Bernthal tied the knot this weekend!

"After both experiencing loss, Sheryl and I weren't sure we would ever find love again. Over the last three years, we’ve merged our lives and blended our families. Our wedding today was a dream come true," Bernthal wrote on Instagram with a photograph of the two in the Wyoming woods on their wedding day.

Sandberg, the outgoing COO of Meta (formerly Facebook), and Bernthal, the founder of consulting firm Kelton Global, got engaged two years ago. They were introduced in 2019 by Sandberg's former brother-in-law, Rob Goldberg.

"Both of them have gone through loss, and just because you have gone through loss doesn’t mean you aren’t entitled to happiness and joy again," Goldberg told People at the time. "They both came out of hard times of their lives still happy and motivated to make their lives better and their kids’ lives better."

Sandberg has two children from her marriage to Dave Goldberg, who died in 2015 at the age of 47, and Bernthal shares three kids with his ex-wife. Their five kids participated in the wedding ceremony as members of the bridal party. "We keep saying, 'We're all getting married,'" Sandberg told People. She's previously called their blended family the "BarnBergs."

Sandberg wore a Monique Lhuillier gown to her wedding, according to the brand, who wrote on Instagram, "We loved designing your dream dress!!"

They reportedly got married at the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, according to Page Six. The guests in attendance reportedly included Bernthal's brother, the actor Jon Bernthal, and "power players" such as Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken. It's unclear if Sandberg's Facebook colleague, CEO Mark Zuckerberg, was in attendance.

In celebration of their wedding, Sandberg and Bernthal donated $1 million to VOW for Girls—to support their mission of ending child marriage.

"All girls should be able to choose when and who they marry. Tom and I made the decision to marry each other - to choose a partner who we deeply love. Too many young girls are robbed of this same choice," Sandberg said in a statement "We hope our support can help put an end to child marriage so that millions more girls can live healthy, fulfilling lives."

Bernthal added, "Sheryl and I know that child marriage leads to catastrophic consequences for girls and their families. We’re honored to support VOW’s work to end the practice and help all girls have the right to make their own decisions about their own lives."
