Shelter's Brutally Honest Adoption Post for 'Fire-Breathing Demon Dog' Is the Best

He'll be the perfect pup for the right family.

All dogs are (usually) wonderful. No one can really dispute that. But on occasion a shelter will have to re-home a dog that is less than wonderful. A whole lot less than wonderful. That's the case with Ralphie, a French Bulldog who the Niagara SPCA recently had to write an adoption post for. Instead of sugarcoating Ralphie's personality, they decided in this case honesty is the best policy.

Just read the following and see if you'd want to give this fire-breathing demon dog a home!

We will admit it, he sounds pretty great to us, especially for the right family! Gladys Pinze sounds like the perfect pet parent for Ralphie, and she comments, "I’m older, I need the spiciness of Ralphie in my life. Big house, big yard and I live alone. Oh, did I mention I’m an ankle biter too? I hope he gets the RIGHT MOM OR DAD, I think he deserves it. And all the treats he can eat!" Alyssa Gross replies, "I’d like to donate toward his adoption fee. I’m bossy and too much for some people too, so he’s a little bit my spirit animal." Carol Sweet Cassie adds, "This is one funny post! And thanks for your take-no-prisoners honesty. Good luck, Ralphie, you cute little brat, you."

Here's hoping Ralphie finds his forever home with a wonderful owner who can handle him and all of his quirks. We are sure with some love and some patience Ralphie will grow to be the bestest boy ever!
