Anyone who has ever owned a kitten can tell you that they get into everything and can end up in some pretty bizarre places. They love investigating and exploring their surroundings, and aren't big fans of being confined places.

Just ask the tiny kitten posted in the video owned by TikTok account @Lowcountyfoster. This baby is a total escape artist.

How does she even manage that? The bars on that kennel are tiny! Sure, the kitten is tiny too but she makes herself even tinier to be able to escape through those bars. She's a tiny little Houdini!

TikTok users have fallen in love with this little shelter cat and @Kellie comments, "All fur, no bones apparently." @Alisha adds, "That’s definitely gotta be the smallest craziest spot I’ve seen a cat get out of." @Anna hilariously responds, "Typically cats can fit through any space small enough for their head to fit! Their collarbones are wiggly or something I don't know I’m not an expert."

Well, thankfully, I am an expert and I can tell you that kennels like that aren't ideal for kittens, because not only can they escape, but they can also get stuck. A mesh-sided kennel or playpen works better, because there are no holes for a kitten to squeeze through. Considering this video was posted by a foster cat account, they probably don't have the resources for additional speciality kennels for kittens.

Which brings me to my next point, even though kitten season is coming to a close, shelters all across the US are in desperate need to volunteers and donations. Donations that can help fosters like the amazing one above purchase items they need. Please consider donating to your local Animal Shelter or Humane Society. Or even better, become a foster kitten mom yourself!
