Shelter Dog's Adorable Adoption Photos Will Make Anyone Fall in Love

There are oh-so-many loving shelter dogs waiting for homes across the country, but it's not always easy to find the pup who's right for you. Luckily, talented rescue staff and volunteers help the pets put their best paws forward with pictures, videos, and detailed biographies to help each individual stand out. It's a lot of work, but it makes a difference!
Duke is just one of the adoptable dogs who looks positively model-worthy in his shelter photos. Dog-tographer @juliesaraceno2 did an amazing job helping his true self shine!

Yes, Duke--work it! We just adore his bright eyes and huge smile, though we know Julie put a lot of effort into the photos, too. It was such a smart move to photograph him both inside and outside!
"I love the idea of showing him in his natural environment," said commenter @chavush1. "[It] makes it easier for a parent to see themselves adopting." We couldn't agree more! Besides, like Julie said, "I’ve been trying once a week to do a session of a dog in the kennel vs. out to show the difference. They look a lot happier outside." Well yeah! The kennel environment can be stressful and draining for even the happiest pups.
