If your mom is a powerful feminist icon, chances are you’ll take a page or two out of her book. Not shockingly, that’s precisely what Chelsea Clinton is doing—by releasing her own pro-woman book called She Persisted.

The illustrated children’s book will tell the stories of 13 inspirational, influential women throughout history, including Harriet Tubman, Helen Keller, and even Oprah Winfrey (plus, rumor has it, Hillary herself may make a cameo in the tome). Each of the women included in the book were chosen for their success in overcoming adversity to achieve their goals, whether they be political, social, or something else entirely.

According to cosmopolitan.com, the book’s title is a nod to the phrase, “nevertheless, she persisted,” which has been co-opted by female protesters and politicians to describe women's strength and resilience. The phrase first came into use last month, after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell used it as an insult against Senator Elizabeth Warren, who refused to be quiet in voicing her opposition to appointing then-Senator Jeff Sessions as attorney general. McConnell obviously did not intend for the phrase to be adopted by female-rights activists, which makes it all the more powerful.

In a statement, Chelsea Clinton explained:

“I wrote this book for everyone who’s ever wanted to speak up but has been told to quiet down, for everyone who’s ever been made to feel less than. The 13 women in She Persisted all overcame adversity to help shape our country—sometimes through speaking out, sometimes by staying seated, sometimes by captivating an audience. With this book, I want to send a message to young readers around the country—and the world—that persistence is power.”

She Persisted will hit bookstores nationwide May 30.
