Shay Mitchell Debuted a Bob Wig During New York Fashion Week 2018
Shay Mitchell has wowed us with a stunning array of beauty looks over the years. But even so, the Pretty Little Liars actress’s long, flowing locks have become something of a signature look — until now.
Last night, Shay debuted a completely different ‘do: a super sleek bob with bangs. She first showed off the look on her Instagram stories before taking it for a spin at US Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers party during New York Fashion Week. The hairstyle, while different for Shay, is right in line with the current glass hair trend, that favors sharp, refined locks.
Shay completed the dramatic look with smokey, winged eyes; a subtle glossed lip; and of course, just the right amount of highlighter. Paired with her ‘80s-glam metallic mini dress, the whole vision was definitely a show-stopper.
But while this new bob really worked for Shay, it wasn’t a permanent change — the locks were a wig, which she kindly shared with her friend, musician Chloe Flower, who tried it on for size at the end of the night.
After the party, Shay took the wig for a spin around town (documenting it all on Insta stories, of course) while she searched for some late night eats before ending the night eating pizza in bed and having a Cinnabon-fueled dance party with friends — truly a girl after our own hearts.
