Shay Mitchell's New Thriller "The Possession of Hannah Grace" Releases First Trailer

Earlier this year, Lucy Hale tapped back into the suspense and drama of Pretty Little Liars when she starred in Truth or Dare, and now, fellow PLL alum Shay Mitchell is following suit — though her take on the horror genre looks like it might be even more terrifying than Lucy's.

The first trailer for Shay's new movie The Possession of Hannah Grace arrived on Monday, and if the two-minute clip is any indication, the feature-length film promises to keep you awake for many (many) nights after you see it.

In the movie, Shay plays Megan Reed, a young medical examiner working the late shift in a shadowy morgue. As if that wasn't a scary enough premise on its own, one night, the corpse of a young girl is brought in by a paramedic who ominously explains that she was killed while having a demon exorcised from her body. "If an exorcism isn't completed, evil will find a new vessel," the paramedic helpfully quips. Thanks for the not-at-all-scary foreshadowing for the rest of the movie, bud!

Shay retorts that she believes "when you die, you die — end of story," which, of course, echoes in the background as the apparently still-possessed body is shown following Shay around the morgue, writhing all over the examining table, and playing an innocent game of catch with her new medical examiner friend. In a particularly heart-stopping turn of events, Shay appears at one point to be locked inside the mortuary refrigerator with the demon-girl — an image that will certainly be haunting viewers for the rest of their days.

The Possession of Hannah Grace hits theaters on November 30, just in time to completely ruin that post-Thanksgiving happy feeling. Watch the full trailer below, but, if it wasn't already incredibly clear, keep in mind that it's not for the faint of heart.
