The singer put fans in their feels with this one!

Shawn Mendes got vulnerable with his 70 million Instagram followers.

The singer took it back to his early career days when he would post videos of himself playing guitar and singing along to an acoustic tune in his bedroom. In the present-day, the nostalgia and rawness make for some incredible content that's hitting fans right in the feels.

Mendes posted a video of himself sitting on the floor while he strummed his guitar and sang along to what we can only imagine is an unreleased track.

"Baby I swear, I don't wanna be friends anymore," Mendes sang, looking quite emotional himself as he sang the lyrics. .

He went on to sing, "I use to care but I don't think I can anymore, don't call me, call me I'm no longer yours baby I swear."

One fan also added, "I miss hearing you sing like that, love u," seemingly referencing the old days when the crooner would post on the now-defunct Vine app.

Other fans seemed excited about the possibility of new music, adding, "IS THIS NEW MUSIC?" with another inquiring, "Okay so when’s the release date for this song?!"
