Shawn Mendes Ran Into Someone Wearing His Exact Same Sweater and Posted His Reaction on TikTok

Imagine waking up in the morning, opening your closet, thinking to yourself hmmm maybe today is the day I wear my giant Old Navy bear sweater, heading out of the house, and running into Shawn Mendes—who *also* woke up and said to himself, hmmm maybe today is the day I wear my giant Old Navy bear sweater.

Apparently this is pretty much exactly what happened to soccer player and Shawn Mendes fan Easton Ongaro.

Shawn and Easton just happened to come face-to-face in their matching sweaters on the street in Vancouver, and Shawn shared shared the video on TikTok (while Easton dropped the photos they took on Insta):

Easton later told the Daily Hive that he's a big fan of Shawn and got his sweater from Old Navy, saying “I’m just a long-time fan of his music, fashion, media personality, everything really. I found the sweater in the sale section at Old Navy a few months (ago) and noticed he wears it all the time. I put it on and was walking down the street and just happened to run into him. Pretty surreal moment."

Meanwhile, there's a video floating around the internet of Shawn chatting to fans about the sweater and saying he got it from his sister. "What's up everyone? So, this is my favorite sweater," he says. "My sister got me this sweater for Christmas and I wore it every day since Christmas. I've washed it though, don't worry."

Okay so tragically this exact sweater is sold out at Old Navy, but they do still have a plaid version for $19. Just saying.
