Sharron and Rhonda From 'Too Hot to Handle' Must Be Protected at All Costs

Sharron and Rhonda are one of the first two contestants to really connect on Netflix's Too Hot to Handle.
Too Hot to Handle challenges conventionally hot contestants to form deeper connections by not hooking up with each other.
Here's what we know about Sharron and Rhonda's relationship, including whether they're still together.
Netflix's new dating show, Too Hot To Handle, centers on one simple rule: to quote Arrested Development, NO TOUCHING. That's right. The whole point of Too Hot To Handle is for the show's cast of exceedingly hot singles to look past the surface and find deeper connections with others, and, eventually, with themselves. Deep stuff.
It doesn't take long for two of those hot singles, Sharron and Rhonda, to notice they have a connection. By the midpoint of the very first episode—before the contestants are even made aware of the "no touching" rules or potential prize money—the two are already flirting and making out with each another. While they both explore other options early on, they eventually because Too Hot to Handle's first established couple. And now, fans of the show are probably wondering where Sharron and Rhonda are now—and whether they're still together.
While the show doesn't get too much into what its contestants do when they're not at the retreat, Instagram tells us that Sharron (last name: Townsend) is a model. He posts frequently touting his Brand Ambassador status, with some professional-looking photoshoots that show off some pretty nice clothing. He even makes his way into music videos occasionally! A recent post shows him alongside Summer 2015 legend Fetty Wap, touting the rapper's comeback. We'll see if that happens, but Sharron being in his music video is pretty cool, regardless.
In the opening moments of the series, it only takes a few minutes before a talking head shows Sharron telling the cameras that the thing about himself he's most proud of...is his penis. By the end of the series, this guy has clearly matured a good bit.

Rhonda (last name: Paul), meanwhile, is one of Too Hot To Handle's most level-headed contestants from the start. While she's certainly game for the flirtations at the show's center, she never really gets too obnoxious or goes too far. As her Instagram shows, she's also a model, and frequently posts photos alongside her young son. "My mans and I on a date ❤️," she wrote in November as the two took a photo outside Toys R Us.

Their journey has a few twists and turns, most notably an early plot point where Sharron and David, who are friends with each other, realize they're both into Rhonda. The tipping point comes when Sharron makes it clear that he's ready to pursue his own connection with Rhonda, and David agrees to back off for the sake of his bro. #BroCode.
Toward the end of the season, the couple start talking about life after the show, and things seem to be moving in the right direction: Sharron asks Rhonda to be his girlfriend (she accepts!), and Rhonda reveals she has a two-year-old son (Sharron is cool with it!). So...
Are Rhonda and Sharron still together?
The show was filmed in the spring of 2019, so a lot could have happened since then! It still remains to be seen whether Sharron and Rhonda are still together, but here's what we can tell from some light social media stalking.
While the cast is fairly active in commenting on each other's Instagrams—Kori and Harry are in Sharron's comments frequently, and Nicole is in Rhonda's a lot—Sharron and Rhonda have barely any traceable interaction. That isn't necessarily bad news: Plenty of couples choose not to be all up in each other's business on social media.

One place where Sharron pops up in Rhonda's comments is on her initial post about the show's cast. Here's where we find Sharron.
"Who's that chocolate guy in the back" he comments. Not the flirtiest of comments, but at least there's still some line of communication!
Rhonda didn't reply to Sharron's comment. She didn't 'like' his comment, either. Normally, there's not a ton to read into that, but in looking at the interactions with her other cast-mates, there just might be. For instance, when she got a comment from Kelz, she liked and replied to him.
She also liked and replied to a comment from Chloe.
Nicole got a like and a response as well.
Harry, Bryce, and Kori all left comments on Rhonda's post, and while they didn't get replies from her, they did get likes on their posts—even Kori.
That means of the cast members, Sharron's comment was the one—the only one—that Rhonda didn't interact with in one way or another. Uh oh. While we still don't know for sure, it's not looking super promising. Either way, we'll surely find out more in the coming weeks about this couple's relationship status and how it all wound up playing out.
