Sharon Osbourne is candidly sharing her journey of undergoing cosmetic surgery and a botched “cyclops” facelift as she joins her family for “The Osbournes Podcast,” which is set to premiere on September 12th.

The Osbourne family will discuss their tumultuous lifestyles and experiences in Hollywood and provide their unfiltered views on current events. In a recently shared clip, Sharon’s son, Jack Osbourne, compared her plastic surgery to car maintenance.

“I thought you had, like, a two or three-year tuneup,” Jack said. The 37-year-old added: “Every 5,000 miles, mom goes in for a tuneup.” Sharon, 70, recently spoke with Fox News Digital and told the publication that she thinks it is “really important” that she is transparent about her plastic surgery procedures with fans.

The television personality explained: “You can’t suddenly go out, and you’ve just had a full facelift and not talk about it.” She added: “It’s the elephant in the room. … Everybody knows you’ve done something. So, you might as well break that embarrassing silence and say, ‘Oh, do you like it?’ And it’s ridiculous. It’s not a sin to do it.”

The author went on: “It’s not. It’s your personal choice. There should be no stigma to it. If I want to go and have [my] chin done or whatever it is, it’s my choice. And I don’t hide the fact. And I’ll give people the truth about it.”

While Sharon is all for anyone pursuing a procedure that would make them feel more confident with themselves, she also thinks it’s vital to be aware of the many risks and drawbacks that come along with plastic surgery. In October 2021, she underwent a facelift. She revealed that this surgery had been unsuccessful, leading to both physical and emotional distress.

“I went to a surgeon who I’d used before,” Sharon recalled. “He did such a terrible job. I mean, I looked like a Cyclops. It was the worst thing ever. One eye was higher than the other. I got some scarring … down by my nostril to the side of my lip, which I never had before. I can’t even begin to tell you what this guy did to me. And then I had to wait for that to heal. And then I went to another surgeon who put it all right for me.”

In another recent interview with The Sunday Times, Sharon expressed remorse over the expensive facelift she underwent. The six-hour operation left her with a ghastly appearance, akin to someone who needed “a hunchback” to complete the horror, she stressed.

Sharon’s husband of 41 years, Ozzy, was also apparently “horrified” by the outcome of her facelift, and told her: “I don’t care how much it costs, we’ll get it redone.” According to the outlet, Sharon’s face required some time to settle after undergoing her second procedure.

“It was scary – really scary,” Sharon confessed. “And I went to a really good guy. It wasn’t some backstreet guy. This guy is voted in the top five surgeons in America. [But] nothing is guaranteed, is it? If you push it, something’s going to happen. It can’t always come out [perfect]. I’ve had my ups and downs with [plastic surgery], definitely.”

The former talk show host continued with a chuckle: “I should start a podcast about plastic surgery because I’ve had so much of it done. I should be able to give advice to people.”
