Sharon Osbourne Admits To Taking Weight Loss Injections

On the show, the reality TV star openly admitted to using one of the controversial weight loss drugs which come under brand names such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, which are intended for people with chronic obesity and type 2 diabetes. The injections reportedly target the areas of the brain that regulate appetite, although Osbourne told viewers that they are no quick fix and they come with a lot of side effects such as nausea.

"I took [the injection]," Osbourne confessed. "I took it for four months and I lost 30 lbs., but like everything, there's always no quick recipe. I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever."

"But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds," she continued. "I've just shoved two chips in my mouth, while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven't put on a pound. Nothing."

Osbourne then went on to talk about people's struggles when it comes to losing weight, and thought, "It is a mental problem." She added: "It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies."
