Mark Cuban says he didn't let the money change him.

While speaking with internet personality and host of The Really Good PodcastBobbi Althoff, the Shark Tank star revealed that he's made it a point to live life as he would whether or not he was worth an estimated $5.1 billion.

He explained that while it may sound corny, "I just try to be the same person, I mean, as I was when I was poor, middle, and rich."

The topic arose after Althoff was surprised that Cuban didn't know any other billionaires personally. In response, Cuban told her that, for the most part, all his friends are the same people he grew up with or knew before he became such a successful businessman.

"People think that you gotta make new friends, or, you know, get butlers, or you're this or that," the 65-year-old investor shared before Athloff cut him off in shock. "Wait, you don't have a butler?" she questioned.

Cuban replied with a simple "No."

The TikTok star followed up, asking, "Do you cook your own meals?" To which Cuban explained that most of the time, there isn't a personal chef cooking for him. But if he's traveling with his basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks, he'll have a chef cook him something "really simple."

"When I'm in Dallas and trying to eat healthy," he said, he has a chef prepare him something. But other than that, food is a family-only affair. "My wife will cook for the family, or here in Laguna, I'll make my own lunches or dinner."

Cuban later told Althoff that he also does his own laundry because "it takes two seconds" and "it's just easier" than having someone else do it. He also confirmed that he doesn't have anyone else at home to help with his kids'–son Jake, 13, and daughters Alyssa, 16, and Alexis, 20–laundry, making it clear that they're also responsible for washing their belongings.

As for a chauffeur, he doesn't have that either. "I like to drive myself."

"I like the privacy," Cuban continued. "I’ve been around people who hire somebody to do everything for them, and that’s just, like, no privacy."
