Shaquille O’Neal Debuts Custom Pepsi ‘Sneak’er’ That Features a Pepsi Mini Chamber in Its Soles

Shaquille O’Neal showed off new custom Pepsi-themed Reeboks during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana, Indianapolis, on Sunday.

In celebration of 32 years of working with the basketball legend, Pepsi teamed up with the famous Shoe Surgeon to create a limited number of sneakers using a few pairs from O’Neal’s personal inventory of size 22 Reebok Shaq Attaq’s.

Dubbed the Pepsi “Sneak’er,” the shoe takes on Pepsi’s signature color palette of electric blue and black with hits of red and white. Furthermore, Reebok’s iconic “Pump” displayed on the oversized tongue has been turned into the recognizable Pepsi Globe.

Most notably though, the soles contain an electric blue leather chamber fit to hold a Pepsi Mini can. The shoe — which also pays homage to O’Neal’s first NBA team, the Orlando Magic — is finished off with Pepsi-branded insoles and blue paint splatter detailing on the outsoles.

Reebok announced last October that O’Neal had been named the athletic brand’s president of Basketball. Prior to the appointment, the NBA icon played a major role in the Authentic Brands Group’s acquisition of Reebok in 2021.

“This is a natural progression for Shaquille, to not just be an athlete who is endorsed but to be someone whose seat at the table is more powerful than arguably anybody’s at Reebok, to be honest,” said Authentic president and chief marketing officer Nick Woodhouse.
