How Shaquil Barrett's Wife Is Honoring Their Late 2-Year-Old Daughter

After Shaquil Barrett and his family suffered the ultimate loss of their two-year-old, Arrayah, his wife, Jordanna, found a special way to honor the little girl's life.

Over the weekend, the bereaved mother shared that she got a tattoo to memorialize her daughter's memory.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Jordanna showed off the fresh ink, which featured the name of their youngest child, Arrayah Sunshine, along with a pair of angel wings and a halo.

"I miss you so much my girl," she wrote alongside the photo. "My heart is so shattered."

Barrett, who plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his wife lost the youngest of their family's four children on the morning of April 30 after a drowning accident in the pool at home in Tampa Bay. Despite numerous life-saving measures authorities took on the scene, Arrayah tragically didn't survive the accident.

That following Wednesday, Jordanna took to Instagram with a heartbreaking tribute to her daughter and a message of gratitude for support from fans.

"Thank you all for all the messages, flowers, thoughts and prayers. Our world will never be the same," she began in the caption of her May 3 post. "Arrayah was the apple of my eye, and my heart will forever be with hers. I love you so much my baby. I am so so sorry. Until we see each other again, please watch over your siblings and momma and dada. We love you forever and ever and always. I can’t wait to see that precious smile again, and just hug you so close. I would do absolutely anything."

"There is no Barrett 6 without you, and we will forever hold your place down here, until we all meet again in heaven," she solemnly concluded. "I love you forever and always."
