Shaq is opening up about what his good friend Travis Kelce told him about his rumored relationship with Taylor Swift, and it's not much.
The NBA legend took the opportunity to troll those out there thirsting for more information about the purported couple, revealing that Kelce has remained tight-lipped, though, apparently, not for lack of trying.
In an interview ahead of his fundraising gala on Oct. 7, the basketball star, 51, shared that, despite being good friends, the NFL star, 34, has refused to admit to the status of his relationship with the "Stay Stay Stay" singer, 33.
One could argue that their alleged romance is the biggest moment in recent pop culture history, with the world watching to see if she shows up to each Kansas City Chiefs game and foaming at the mouth for either party to confirm they're officially an item.
"Travis is a friend of mine, so he hasn't told me that they are dating," O'Neal said, pointing out that that's not unusual when a new celebrity couple starts testing out the waters. But from the outside looking in like the rest of us, he believes the two are the real deal.
"But we all see what seems to be like they are dating. If they are dating, I wish them well. And they're both great people and I'm happy for [them],” he added, laughing about the amount of attention that Swift has garnered for her game attendance so far.
The superstar touring artist already looked to be BFFs with Kelce's mother at the first game she attended in Sept. and brought a whole entourage of friends along with her to see the team play against the Jets at Metlife Stadium in early Oct.
