Shania Twain Gave the Most Insane Performance Last Night and People Went Wild
Shania Twain delighted viewers during the 2019 American Music Awards.
She sang a medley of songs by Taylor Swift, Drake, and others before belting out a few of her own greatest hits.
If the 2019 AMAs taught us anything, it's that Shania Twain's still the one! Yes, she may have broken our hearts by skipping this year's 53rd Country Music Association Awards, but she more than made up for that absence during Sunday night's star-studded ceremony.
Following a brief introduction by a visibly excited Kelsea Ballerini, the 54-year-old electrified the room with a medley of greatest hits--not all of which were her own.
Dressed in a bright pink, floor-length gown and sequined corset top, Shania had the audience spell-bound with her stripped-down interpretation of popular songs including Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," Twenty One Pilot's "Stressed Out," and even Drake's "God's Plan."
She then transitioned into her own discography, belting out "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" with a parade of back-up dancers, strobe lights, and dazzling video projections.
It was an epic way to close out the night--and we're not the only ones who think so. Over on Twitter, users weren't shy about sharing their joy at Shania's reemergence. Rapper Post Malone was even filmed dancing along to the colorful performance!

We'll be seeing even more from Shania in the coming weeks: She's set to launch her Las Vegas residency, "Let's Go!", on December 6 after several years of touring.
If that don't impress you much, we don't know what will!
