Shania Twain Fans Swear She Looks “Better Than Ever” Performing Her New Song in a Mini Dress

Shania Twain has been busy as of late, between winning at the 2023 CMT Awards and performing on multiple shows. But one appearance had the singer posting on Instagram, with fans going wild over the outfit she wore for it.

Over the last few weeks, the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" singer has been in the U.K. being a judge on the reality show Starstruck. This week was a bit different for her though, as Shania stepped away from the panel to the stage for a performance of her recent single "Waking Up Dreaming." Shortly after taping the April 1 episode, she reminisced about the moment via an Instagram video.

"I was Waking Up Dreaming on @starstruckuk!! 🤩 ," she captioned the clip. "I had such a blast performing on last night's show - and especially loved our impromptu group singalong! Thank you for all the lovely messages as well! If you missed it, you can watch it on @itvxofficial."

While Shania's followers loved seeing her back onstage singing her newest tunes, they were equally mesmerized by the purple cutout sequined mini dress and pink hair she donned. Naturally, folks commented on the surprise look and had nothing but kind words to say about it.

"I just loooooove her! Thank you for representing us 50 something’s! [You're] better than EVER!!! ❤️🔥🙌," one person wrote. "The dress was INCREDIBLE!" a different user raved. "I'M SO IN LOVE WITH YOUR NEW LOOK AND THE SONG 🤩💞," another follower exclaimed.

So, what exactly is Starstruck and what is Shania's role on the U.K. series? According to a report from Hello!, the show centers around budding singers and fans "transforming" into their favorite musicians and performing a version of the artists' songs. Once it's over, the audience and a judges' panel (which includes Shania and American Idol alum Adam Lambert) vote to send standout contestants forward in the competition.

What's more, this isn't the only time Shania has performed on the show. Back in February, she sang a rousing rendition of the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" alongside Adam and fellow judges Beverley Knight and Jason Manford.
