At the 30th annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z accepted the Vanguard Award and delivered a speech during which the 37-year-old music legend was brought to tears after discussing her late uncle’s battle with HIV.

And while they were the evening’s big honorees, everyone’s talking about another superstar: Shangela.

The former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant, who appeared in A Star Is Born, paid tribute to Beyoncé with one truly epic minutes-long performance that left the audience-and Twitter-click-clacking their heels in excitement. In fact, it was so good that Beyoncé herself gave it a standing ovation, laughing and smiling all throughout the act.

So why’d it get so much attention? As you’ll see in various clips below, Shangela nailed the lip-syncing and choreography to Beyoncé hits such as “Partition,” “Flawless,” “End of Time,” “Baby Boy,” and Destiny’s Child favorites like “Independent Women, Pt. 1.”

In another clip, you can see Beyoncé and Jay-Z cheer Shangela on.

During Beyoncé's speech, she hilariously acknowledged Shangela’s performance, saying, “I’ve already cried. I’ve put a run in my stocking from Shangela.”

On Friday morning, Shangela took to her Instagram Live feature to call the evening one of the best, most “full-circle” experiences of her career.

We’re going to have to agree on that one.
