Shakira illuminated the 2023 Latin Grammys red carpet with a stunning two-piece outfit that highlighted her sculpted physique. The “Hips Don’t Lie” hitmaker’s first ensemble of the night consisted of a glistening golden corset top with cleverly placed cutouts that accentuated her slim waist and curves. Paired with the top was a graceful black velvet maxi skirt that trailed behind her as she walked, boasting a dramatic train.

Harris Reed, the designer behind the set, disclosed on Instagram that Shakira’s attire was fashioned out of upcycled theater curtains and deadstock velvet. The 46-year-old “TQG” singer’s skirt was complete with a sultry high slit that helped flaunt her toned legs and glimmering gold stiletto platform heels.

To top off her look, the "Whenever, Wherever" artist wore her signature honey blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into effortless, mermaid-esque loose waves. As for her makeup look, Shakira rocked smokey black cat-eye liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a shiny dark pink pout.

The mom of two added sparkly dangly drop earrings and chunky rings to dazzle it all up even more. Shakira donned several ensembles during the ceremony (although the Harris Reed set has to be our fave!)

The "El Jefe" crooner and style icon flaunted a strapless gold Dolce & Gabbana dress that showcased a playful thigh-high slit and the brand's recognizable symbol on the bodice.

Following this, she graced the stage in a sheer Jean Paul Gaultier catsuit for yet another jaw-dropping performance. To conclude the night and her remarkable wardrobe changes, she donned a sleek cutout green dress.

With seven nominations, Shakira was one of the most highly acclaimed artists at this year's Latin Grammy Awards.

She managed to win the prestigious song of the year award, further cementing her reputation as one of the industry's leading figures. This, of course, isn't the first time Shakira has been recognized for her talents - in fact, she's won the Latin Grammy Award a staggering twelve times.

One of her most notable achievements came in 2011 when she was bestowed with the highly coveted Latin Recording Academy person of the year award.

Furthermore, she graced the Latin Grammys ceremony with a remarkable performance, sharing the stage with notable artists such as Rosalía and Maluma.

During a recent interview with Spotify's For the Record podcast, Shakira shared the significance of her immense fanbase in her life. "The role that my fans have played in my career is impossible to quantify," she shared. "They’ve known how to understand me better than anybody, and they’ve carried me to where I am today with their unwavering support."

Expressing her pride, she said that representing Colombian women in an industry predominantly occupied by men was a noteworthy achievement.

"The way Colombia has served as inspiration for my career as an artist is immeasurable. Colombia is a never-ending source of inspiration: for colors, culture, sounds, stories, folklore, and food," she noted. "It’s such a rich culture and I’m so grateful to have been raised where I was and have it be my lifelong muse."
