Shakira is diving headfirst into promotions after the release of her new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women No Longer Cry). The Colombian sensation delighted her fans with the reveal of her stunning Allure cover, featuring her in a striking black Christian Cowan dress adorned with hypnotic silver embellishments across her chest.

Completing her look with a luxurious Agmes cuff and a Selina King bracelet and cuff, she exuded glamour from head to toe. Her iconic golden blonde locks were styled in a sleek middle part and she kept her makeup very minimal (like she always does) as she posed for the camera.

This marks her first appearance on Allure‘s cover, where the mom of two also opened up about her past heartache following her split with her ex, Spanish former soccer star Gerard Piqué.

Her dedicated fanbase was in love with the latest feature, as they dropped several comments praising the “El Jefe” singer.

“Shakira the ageless goddess,” wrote one user. Another fan said, “Total admiration of what you do, your talent, your art, what you transmit, you are a great inspiration.”

For her interview with the publication, the mother of two shared what she hopes to achieve with her new album, which features 16 new tracks. “I want this music to build bridges, to empower people, to help women discover their own strengths.”

The album’s title resonates deeply with the singer, reflecting her recent experiences and emotions. She candidly shared how the process of creating this album became a journey of transforming her pain into creativity, especially in the wake of her public breakup with Gerard Piqué.

Shakira Reveals She Was ‘In The Mud’ Following Her Split With Gerard Piqué

“Making this music has shown me that my pain can be transformed into creativity. The songs are full of anecdotes and some very intense emotions I have experienced in these two years. But creating this album has been a transformation in which I have been reborn as a woman. I have rebuilt myself in the ways I believe are appropriate. No one tells me how to cry or when to cry, no one tells me how to raise my children, no one tells me how I become a better version of myself. I decide that,” the “Hips Don’t Lie” icon said.

The past two years have been a whirlwind for her career-wise. In her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, a towering 21-foot statue was unveiled in her honor. Billboard recognized her as its inaugural Latin Woman of the Year, and she also scooped up major wins at the VMAs along with a memorable performance of some of her iconic songs.

“In the past, when women went through a difficult situation, they were expected to mind their manners, to hide the pain, to cry in silence. That’s over. Now, no one will control us. No one will tell us how to heal, how to clean our wounds,” she stated.
