Shakira appears to throw shade at ex Gerard Piqué in new TikTok

After 11 years together, Shakira and footballer Gerard Piqué announced their separation in 2022. Their breakup has been slightly messy to say the least, from allegations of cheating to shady music lyrics, and now things may have even got more chaotic after Shakira posted a TikTok appearing to shade Gerard.
Here's their full relationship timeline, starting with the most recent update:
14th February 2023: On Valentine's Day Shakira shared a very shady TikTok in which she is seen mopping the floor whilst singing along to SZA's song "Kill Bill" which features the lyrics, "I might kill my ex, not the best idea/ His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here?"
Many fans believe the lyrics are a dig at her ex Gerard Piqué and his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.
June 2022 - The pair announce breakup
After 11 years of being together Shakira and Gerard announced their breakup in a joint statement on Instagram.
The pair, who met on the set of Shakira's music video for "Waka Waka", have two children together, Milan, aged 10, and Sasha aged eight.
In their break-up statement they said: "We regret to confirm that we are separating. We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect."
September 2022 - Shakira breaks her silence
Following the breakup Shakira shared details about her heartbreak in an interview with Elle.
She called this period of her time "the darkest hours of my life" and said she was trying to focus on her children amid the breakup.
"I've remained quiet and just tried to process it all. It's hard to talk about it, especially because I'm still going through it, and because I'm in the public eye," she said.
Shakira added: "I've tried to conceal the situation in front of my kids. I try to do it and to protect them, because that's my number one mission in life. But then they hear things in school from their friends or they come across some disagreeable, unpleasant news online, and it just affects them, you know?"
October 2022 - Shakira releases first diss track
Following their breakup Shakira released her first track "Monotonía" since her breakup with Gerard.
Many fans think the lyrics made references to Gerard as they are: "It wasn't your fault, it wasn't my fault / It was monotony's fault / I never said anything but it hurt / I knew this would happen."
Shakira later goes onto sing: "Suddenly you were no longer the same / You left me because of your narcissism / You forgot what we were one day."
November 2022 - The couple reach a custody agreement
Five months after their breakup Shakira and Gerard reached a custody agreement for their two sons.
Following the agreement it was reported Shakira and their sons would be moving from Barcelona to Miami.
12th January 2023 - Shakira throws shade at Gerard in new song
In January earlier this year Shakira threw major shade at Gerard in a new diss track that appeared to reference his new relationship, which he was yet to confirm.
In the track "BZRP Music Session #53" made in collaboration with Bizarrap, Shakira appears to reference being replaced by a partner and having to live next to her in-laws.
She sings: "Sorry baby, I should have thrown you out a while ago / A she-wolf like me is not for rookies / A she-wolf like me is not for guys like you / I’m too good for you, and that’s why you’re with someone just like you."
Gerard was said to be dating Clara Chia Marti, who is 13 years his junior, and Shakira appeared to address their age gap in the track, with the lyrics: "I wish you luck with my supposed replacement / I don’t even know what happened to you. I’m worth two of 22 [year old] / You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo / You traded a Rolex for a Casio / You’re going fast, slow down / Lots of time at the gym, but your brain needs a little work too."
17th January 2023 - Gerard responds to diss track
A few days after the diss track was released Gerard then appeared to respond to the allegations by driving a Twingo car to an event.
He also wore a Casio watch in reference to the lyrics "you traded a Rolex for a Casio" and revealed the brand would be sponsoring the Spanish King’s League.
Gerard went onto say he was "being serious" and his fellow footballer Sergio Agüero said: "It was because of Shakira’s song,"
18th January 2023 - Shakira reportedly discovered Gerard was cheating on her because of jam
Following the diss track, it was reported Shakira allegedly discovered Gerard was cheating on her after some jam in her apartment was eaten.
Page Six reported Shakira came home from a trip to find the jam in her fridge had been eaten, which was suspicious as neither Gerard nor her children like jam.
Shakira appeared to allude to this jam saga in the music video for the song "Te Felicito" which she collaborated with Rauw Alejandro on.
In one scene Rauw's head is seen inside a fridge which features jam.
25th January 2023 - Gerard goes Instagram official with Clara
A week after the diss track, Gerard appeared to go Instagram official with new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.
He shared an image of the two of them together without a caption.
14th February 2023 - Gerard speaks about new relationship
During an interview with Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos Gerard spoke about his relationship with Clara and revealed she picks his clothes for him.
He said: "The truth is I go with my girlfriend to the shops and she buys them for me. I'm a puppet."
Gerard revealed in another interview that Shakira was the most famous person he had in his contacts.
