Shailene Woodley Just Confirmed She's Engaged to Aaron Rodgers While Showing Off Her Diamond Ring

Shailene Woodley has officially confirmed that she is engaged to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The actress revealed the news of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.

"Yes, we are engaged," she said, clarifying that it's not "new news" for them. "Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.'"

Shailene then joked that she never thought she would marry someone who "threw balls for a living" and that she really wasn't into football before they met. Even now, she still hasn't been to a football game.

"We met during this whacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in, so I've yet to go to a football game," she admitted. "Before I met him I'd never seen one football game before. I didn't really grow up with sports. Especially American sports. It was never really on my radar. When he met I knew he was a football guy, but I didn't know what kind fo a football guy he was and I'm still constantly learning."

While talking with Jimmy, Shailene also flashed her engagement ring, though unfortunately she has yet to fully show off the rock.

The public learned of Shailene and Aaron's engagement earlier this month, when the quarterback was named NFL's Most Valuable Player. "2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans or no fans the entire season, I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career," Aaron said.

According to People, Aaron and Shailene are "very happy together." A source said that "It's not surprising he proposed so fast. When you know, you know, right?"

Here's hoping we can get a better lok at the ring ASAP and Shailene finally gets a chance to see her fiancé throw a ball IRL.
