Sexy Mom Jeans? Allow Bella Hadid to Demonstrate
Just when we thought Bella Hadid couldn’t possibly make anything more sultry than the exposed high-waist panties she wore last night in Paris, she did it again—this time by reinterpreting a typically unsexy staple: the humble mom jean. Leave it to Hadid to take this dowdy trouser to alluring new heights.
It didn’t hurt, of course, that Hadid paired her high-cut, tapered-leg denim with a curve-skimming bodice top that looked like it belonged in the boudoir. The lingerie-inspired style hugged her in all the right places (read: everywhere her jeans didn’t) and the satin finish dialed up the shine that was lost on the distressed blues. From mom-inspired pants to grandpa’s orthopedic sneakers: Hadid laced in to those gargantuan trainers she’s been making cool. Roberi & Fraud sunglasses and a quilt-lined coat seemed provided for an even more dramatic exit.
