"Sex Education" Releases New Trailer Ahead of January Premiere

So much DRAMA.

Moordale Secondary is back in session, and now we have the full-length trailer for Sex Education season two.

Things kick-off in classic Sex Education fashion with Otis's (Asa Butterfield) mother Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson) being brought into the school for something fairly-embarrassing for the teen: she's sharing her expertise as a sexual health professional. While everyone breaks into laughter thanks to a wisecrack about Dr. Milburn "wanking a courgette," Otis is not taking it very well.

Otis and Maeve (Emma Mackey) have gone their separate ways, making way for Ola (Patricia Allison) and Otis to officially get together. It looks like even though Otis is getting closer and closer to having sex for the first time, the fact that his mom and Ola's dad are dating might make things more than just a teensy bit awkward — especially when he's naked in the living room and accidentally breaking furniture. But don't rule out Maeve just yet — we also see Jackson tell Otis that Maeve is in love with him.

Beyond boy problems, Maeve will have plenty of other things to worry about with negotiating her way back into school and the return of her mother. "We're not going to pretend that everything's OK, because it's not," she tells her mom, who has arrived at the front door of her trailer. Meanwhile, it appears that even though Adam (Connor Swindells) is away at military school, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) might have a new love interest in new kid Rahim. Going on real dates? Sounds like a winner.

Throughout the trailer, we also get a couple of glimpses of what some of our other favorite characters have been up to, such as Lily (Tanya Reynolds) and Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood). And, of course, a myriad of sex questions about bleaching vaginas, dirty talk, and more.

Check out the trailer below for Sex Education season two, which premieres January 17 on Netflix.
