What the ‘Sex and the City’ Cast Looked Like Then vs. Now
In case your Instagram feed wasn’t inundated with the news: Sex and the City is returning to a TV near you!!!! If this is the first you’re hearing about it, we’ve gathered all the details about the revival right over here.
Now that I’ve gathered myself (she says whilst wiping away tears of joy), let this glorious announcement sink in: A revival of the best show ever made (yeah, I said it) is in the works, and apparently, it’ll be called And Just Like That. When the Sex and the City pilot premiered on HBO in June 1998, its candid dialogue and juicy storylines documenting the lives of four independent women from their own perspectives was groundbreaking and very forward-thinking. Throughout six seasons (and two movies), the fabulous cast of characters grew to embody what it meant to be a single woman living in New York City—and all the glamour and fashion and friendship and heartbreak that came with it. It’s no surprise that Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York’s adventures still feel relevant more than 20 years later.
While we impatiently wait for the revival to save 2021, let’s take a look back at the original cast—including the main characters and all the best cameos. Over two decades have passed, but of course, everyone’s still f*cking fabulous.
