Seven Biloxi restaurants awarded for top wine offerings in the US. Here’s the list.
The list of Wine Spectator restaurant awards is out and seven of the 22 winners in Mississippi are in Biloxi.
The awards are given for outstanding wine programs at restaurants in all 50 states and 75 countries and territories.
These are the winners on the Coast:
‘Best of’ winner
▪ Thirty-Two atop IP Casino Biloxi was one of three restaurants in Mississippi to land on the Best of Award of Excellence this year. Besides the views of Biloxi and the Gulf Coast, it’s known for its regional and steakhouse cuisine, according the Wine Spectator, and wines from California, France, Germany, Italy, Washington and Oregon. It’s been on the Wine Spectator list since 2013.
New award winners
Two of the six Biloxi restaurants presented an Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator are receiving it from the first time:
▪ Field’s Steak & Oyster Bar in downtown Biloxi
▪ White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge on Beach Boulevard in Biloxi
Casino winners
Four winners are restaurants from Coast casino restaurants, three of them at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino:
▪ BR Prime Steakhouse at Beau Rivage, on the list since 2007
▪ Stalla Italian Kitchen at Beau Rivage, listed since 2016
▪ Jia at Beau Rivage, on the list since 2008
▪ Mortons, The Steakhouse restaurant at Golden Nugget Biloxi, on the list since 2016.
