Late Night host Seth Meyers wants his celebrity guests to be relaxed around him so they can have as casual of a conversation as possible. Enter the popular "Day Drinking" segment, where Meyers and his guest go to a bar, drink to excess, and have some fun together.

On Dec. 11, Meyers invited Grammy-winning pop star Dua Lipa to get day-drunk with him. As the alcohol flowed, the two stars loosened up and laughed about everything from sweaters to the suspicious cocktails Meyers was whipping up behind the bar.

"You've got three kids, right? Rank 'em favorite to least favorite," the "Levitating" singer asked. Meyers waffled before opting to take a shot instead of answering. When Lipa asked if he had a favorite child, he replied honestly: "Of course I do." He then looked into the camera and spoke to his children directly. "By the way, my kids, if you're growing up and you're watching this on YouTube, you know who you are," he chuckled before noting that the child he was talking about is a girl.

Meyers' first child, a son named Ashe, was born in 2016, and his second son Axel arrived in 2018. In 2021, Meyers welcomed his third child and first daughter, Adelaide. So, it seems Meyers isn't exactly dealing with the "terrible twos" from his youngest.

Lipa has been spending this year laying the groundwork for her highly anticipated third studio album, due out sometime in 2024. She had a cameo as Mermaid Barbie in the billion-dollar Barbie movie over the summer, and last month, she released "Houdini," the lead single from her forthcoming LP.

Harry Houdini himself even became a topic of conversation for Lipa and Meyers. The host explained how the famed magician died in 1926 after a physical altercation despite him reportedly not minding being punched. In addition to being known for his escape arts, Houdini "had this weird thing where he was like, 'You can also punch me as hard as you want, and I'm fine," Meyers said. Lipa quickly concluded that Houdini derived pleasure from the act. "That has to be a kink," she giggled. "It's a kink."

Lipa is currently up for two Grammy Awards for "Dance the Night," her smash hit song from the Barbie soundtrack.
