Like ‘Serial’? Then You’ll Love Netflix’s New Series’ Companion Podcast, ‘Wormwood’

If you already binge-watched Netflix’s newest true-crime docuseries Wormwood, prepare to go further down the rabbit hole.

Yesterday, the streaming giant released a companion podcast to the mind-bending six-part series from Academy Award–winning director Errol Morris. We already listened to every episode, and all we can say is woah

Like the series, Wormwood: the Companion tells the story of a biologist named Eric Olson, who believes his father’s (Frank Olson) 1953 suicide was due to the CIA dosing him with LSD in an experimental mind-control program and subsequent cover-up. It sounds eerily similar to Stranger Things, but, like, real. The podcast explores the conspiracy theory in greater detail and features Morris and Olson as the show’s hosts, with Peter Sarsgaard as the voice of Frank. Conspiracy expert Jon Ronson is also along for the ride.

The first three episodes of the podcast are now available on iTunes. Netflix, you had us at true crime podcast.
