Serena Williams Got an Epic Push Present From Her Husband

But there isn't a movie about how her husband, Alexis Ohanian, has notched up his nearly $70 million estimated net worth, so for those who don't know, Ohanian's biggest claim to fame is co-founding the website Reddit, along with Steve Huffman and Aaron Swartz.

Now, not only is Ohanian married to Serena Williams and the father of their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, but he's become a significant investor in the world of sports. This is probably the most dramatic "nerd to jock" transformation since Steve Rogers got that super-soldier serum.

And as it turns out, his latest athletic investment is more than just a financial decision: it's also a "push present" for his wife, Serena. Essentially Sports notes that "along with his wife and his sister-in-law, Venus Williams, he recently acquired a franchise in the Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-backed Golf League, TGL."

When questioned about the investment on The Joe Pomp Show, Ohanian said, "So, this was kind of a push present for my wife, Serena. I mean, Olympia is also a part owner, just like Angel City. And then we also brought in my sister-in-law, Venus. So, some great L.A. roots, little-known facts, but I don't know how little-known it is."

Yes, you read that quote right: Alexis and Serena's daughter, Olympia, is also part owner. Alexis gifted her a portion of the team, as he previously had a few years back when he made Olympia an investor in the L.A.-based women's soccer team Angel City F.C.

Essentially Sports notes that that initial gift "made his daughter the youngest investor in the professional sports world." And now, young Olympia has two teams in her portfolio—though she's probably less excited by those than she was about that Little Mermaid doll she got.
