Serena Williams and Daughter Pose for Adorable Instagram Photo With Meghan Markle

Before facing her final tennis tournament before retirement, Serena Williams appeared on Meghan Markle's new podcast, and she brought little Olympia along too!
Williams was the first guest on Markle's podcast, Archetypes, which premiered on Spotify on Aug. 23.
According to the official summary, the podcast will "investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back."
While Williams was the perfect first guest for Markle's new project, an added bonus was the presence of little Olympia, Williams' daughter with husband Alexis Ohanian.
The 40-year-old shared a photo behind-the-scenes of the podcast recording, in which Williams and Markle pose with little Olympia in between them.
Williams captioned the photo, "I loved talking about so many important topics with my dear friend Meghan as her first guest on #archetypes for @spotify! It’s out now and worth the listen, especially if you’re ambitious ❤️."
In the first episode of Archetypes, Markle and Williams spent a lot of time discussing ambition.
Markle said that she learned to go for what she wanted from the nuns at Immaculate Heart, the all-girls Catholic school in Los Angeles, California that she attended growing up.
She said, "This feminist ideology trickled down into nearly every aspect of my education. It's probably safe to say into every aspect of my life. This message to me and my classmates was clear: our futures as young women were limitless. Ambition? That was the whole point!"
However, Markle notes that her ambition was one of the things the public heavily criticized when she started dating Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex further explained the feeling she got from the public after being thrust into the spotlight with her relationship, saying, "apparently ambition is a terrible, terrible thing, for a woman that is — according to some. So, since I've felt the negativity behind it, it's really hard to un-feel it."
Williams has gone through the same thing, stating on the podcast: "Often women are definitely put in these different boxes when we are ambitious or when we do have goals or when we reach our goals, it's a negative connotation on how we reach the goals."
Luckily, both Williams and Markle continue to push through any negativity to pursue their goals, becoming role models for plenty of young people around the world, including Olympia.
Although she's only four years old, Olympia is already a force, taking a particular interest in sports like soccer, and, of course, tennis.
Recently, a video of Olympia playing soccer on the Angel City FC field was uploaded to Olympia's Instagram page (which is run by her parents), showing off the little girl's skills.
There's no doubt that Williams and Markle will encourage their children to pursue their dreams and follow their ambitions no matter what.
