Welcome to September, Sagittarius. August saw you stepping into a leadership role, which is natural for you. When the world is in chaos, we need strong leaders to take charge. This month kicks off with a full moon in dreamy Pisces on Tuesday, September 1. You're a fire sign, Sag, and dealing with unwanted emotions popping up can be annoying. However, it's a part of life, and all you may still need to face all the heartbreak and frustration you've felt in the past few months. There might be some waterworks during this lunation. There's no other option but to feel the feels. 

You're not a stagnant sign, Sagittarius; you like forward motion. Unfortunately, warrior planet Mars goes retrograde from Wednesday, September 9, to Friday, November 13. Mars is the planet of fucking and fighting, two activities nearly any Sag loves. Be prepared for any new romances to fizzle out unless you put in some extra effort. Both personal and professional projects may also feel sluggish. The key to surviving this time is to be flexible and prioritize your needs. You can even try letting someone else take control for once. 

Your hard work is starting to pay off, Sagittarius. 

Circle Thursday, September 17 in your calendar because there's a new moon in practical Virgo. Despite the disruption of Mars retrograde, this is a day of culmination. Whether it was a political, professional, or personal project, your hard work is starting to pay off. Expect good news or simply a well-deserved feeling of accomplishment. 

No one can celebrate like a Sagittarius. Tuesday, September 22 is the fall equinox. If you can safely socially distance and use PPE, consider seeing a few friends. If in-person is off the table, set up some Zoom festivities. Name what you are grateful for, and be sure to include each other. The fall equinox is about appreciating what we have, even through tough times.
