CHILLICOTHE — Graduating Adena senior Brady Bossert has overcome all the challenges life has put in his way to make it to graduation as not only a senior but one looked upon fondly by the staff of the school.

As the only boy in his set of triplets Bossert was born almost 10 weeks premature leading to several complications including cerebral palsy which can impact a person's ability to move. Because of this, he was put in a wheelchair before he started kindergarten and given an aide to help him through school.

Bossert did not let any of this stop him from becoming an active student. Adena High School Principal Cyndi Brill said she often sees Bossert coming into school.

"Every day he has a smile on his face," said Brill.

Bossert said he has loved his time at Adena as everyone is incredibly nice. He said it "takes a village" and the school and community have been his village supporting him his entire academic career and he said he will be "forever grateful" for them.

"They are super nice," said Bossert of those at Adena. "All the teachers are nice, all the faculty are nice."

Throughout school Bossert has taken part in FFA, the E-Sports team, the honors society and 4-H showing rabbits. With so many great memories he said it is a bit "overwhelming" thinking about graduation. Bossert said one day he was in kindergarten, then he blinked and now he is graduating.

Still, he is excited to move on to this next chapter in his life. Bossert plans on attending the Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center after graduation to take part in the visual communication and design program. He has always had a love for computers and said that one day he hopes to work in IT or fixing computers.

Adena High School seniors will be graduating on May 19.
