Senior Dog's Contentment After Spending 2 Years at the Animal Shelter Is Just Beautiful

As the rescue said, he just needed a safe place to land.

There's nothing more heartbreaking then seeing a senior dog at a shelter, waiting for someone to give them a home where they can be loved in the golden years of their life. There's also nothing more heartwarming than when these deserving dogs finally get that home.

@Seniorpawsrescue posted the following video of one of their rescues who finally feels safe and content and loved. It's just so touching to see a dog finally able to feel cared for.

Awwwww, this is just everything. @Holly comments, "Not only did he find a soft place to land, he found a soft place in your heart as well! God bless you."  "Such a good boy… thank you, " replies @SusanMD. He really does have the sweetest face.

@Nancyfmp says what we all are thinking with, "You are so kind to care for these senior dogs."  If you are considering adoption, please consider a senior dog. They may not have as long as a lifespan as a puppy, but they'll make up for that in companionship and gratitude if you give them a forever home.
