This Site Sends ‘Cameos’ but with Winter Wonderland Christmas Characters—and It Supports Artists

Winter Wondergram offers personalized video holiday cards from celebrities that are a little harder to get in touch with—a roster of quirky holiday characters played by artists from all over the country. Who are the characters? There's The First Noel, a drag version of Santa's very funny first wife who, yes, will sing you a Christmas song of your choosing. Or Larry the Lanky Elf, an unusually tall elf living in a tiny elf world. You can even hear from the Grandma That Got Run Over by a Reindeer, alive and healing from her hospital bed. Well, 50 percent goes directly to that artist, 35 percent goes to not-for-profit arts organizations including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Highland Park Players and Big Noise Theatre and the remaining covers operating expenses of the project.
