Selma Blair is honoring MS Awareness Month with an emotional, candid video of her journey since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018.

The video, shared on Instagram, documents hospital visits and medical treatments, but also includes profound moments of strength and joy, like dancing on a beach and spending time with her 10-year-old son, Arthur Saint Bleick.

"March is #MSAwareness month," she wrote in the post caption. "May we all find the strength to persevere."

Since her diagnosis, the Cruel Intentions star has been outspoken about life with MS, a disease in which the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord, thus causing a string of neurological symptoms.

"I am aware my challenges affect other hopeful or isolated people—and a few of them may be joyful snobs like me," Blair said in a 2021 interview with Town & Country. "I'm very comfortable in my body, mostly because I am now making a deeper positive connection with it. I am fascinated by this body and this life. I am humbled and pleased to be any inspiration for people."

Last year, Blair reflected on the moment she first noticed her MS symptoms while walking the runway for a Christian Siriano fashion show.

"3 years ago. My dearest two pals came to watch the Siriano show. I walked that day," she wrote on Instagram, next to a series of photos from backstage. "In the show. Noticing for first time, my leg was numb. When I first stepped out. I couldn't feel the ground or how to lift my left leg. My brain was trying to compute. As I walked the runway, stunned."
