Ever since announcing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in October 2018, Selma Blair has been chronicling her battle and actively sharing updates on social media. From revealing how MS has changed her voice to shaving her head after undergoing chemotherapy treatment, the Cruel Intentions star has been refreshingly candid about her journey. And in her latest Instagram post, Blair proved just how transparent she’s willing to be with fans after sharing a photo showing herself with no pants on.

The cheeky picture, which was posted on Saturday, September 7th, shows the 48-year-old actress facing a mirror and holding a strategically placed, crab-shaped purse in front of her. In it, she’s wearing nothing but a pink-and-green tweed jacket by designer Thom Browne as her bare butt faces the camera.

Blair’s mission is to show the world that bald is beautiful, and it’s working: her striking photo resonated with many fans, who applauded her for being so revealing. It also got a lot of praise from those are struggling with MS themselves or who have lost their hair due to other health conditions.

In the comments section, Blair’s celebrity friends, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Christina Milian, and Jaime King, supported her as well. Even her best friend Sarah Michelle Gellar joked about the pic, writing, “You know they have medicine for that.”

Blair even joked about it with a followup post, using a Barbie in place of herself and captioning it, “clutching my pearls.”
