Chrishell Stause is encouraging followers to pay attention to what their bodies tell them following the procedure.

Chrishell Stause is on the mend following a minor surgical procedure, according to an update the Selling Sunset star shared via Instagram Stories late last night, Feb. 8.

The realtor shared a photo from her hospital bed, where her full beat, including shimmery eyeshadow and filled-in brows, survived post-surgery, despite the scrub cap and surgical mask she wore.

“Had minor surgery today and had a large ovarian cyst removed,” the reality star wrote underneath the photograph. “Thank you Dr. Hakakha for taking such good care of me.”

She went on to say that she was "feeling good," with her "💜" looking after her—most likely referring to her partner, G Flip, an Australian musician whom she's been dating since shortly after breaking it off with colleague Jason Oppenheim in late 2021.

According to the Mayo Clinic, ovarian cysts, which are fluid-filled sacs on the walls of the ovaries, are relatively common and typically innocuous growths that usually clear up on their own. But sometimes they can twist or rupture. Even a larger size can cause issues, like pelvic pain or pressure and bloating. If you suddenly experience severe abdominal or pelvic pain, pain with fever or vomiting, or cold, clammy skin, rapid breathing, and/or lightheadedness or weakness, the clinic advises you to seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Stause also encouraged her followers to listen to their bodies and seek help if something feels wrong. “If you have bad unexplained cramps, don’t ignore it!” she wrapped up, following a long path of candor about her health.

In a 2020 interview with Women's Health, she dished on her conscientious eating, noting, "I was a vegetarian for so many years, but I don't put a label on it now, I try not to eat meat, but I'm not saying that I'm vegetarian or vegan. I love animals, so I try and eat with a conscience."

That same year, she credited her turn on Dancing With the Stars for an increase in muscle tone, especially in her legs. "As much as I want to tell you about my journey … the back of my legs, I’m like, ‘What is happening?'” she joked with reporters about her calves at the time, but it's clear she knows the importance of being serious about her health when it counts!
