Netflix’s original series Selling Sunset is the perfect mix of luxe real estate meets major drama. The show, which just released its fifth season, follows the real estate brokers of the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, CA. This boss lady squad, alongside their bosses, twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim, don’t just work hard but play hard too. In fact, the brokerage boasts over $1 billion in closed sales.

Selling Sunset, created by Adam DiVello of MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills, hones in on the ladies’ whirlwind lives both inside and outside of the office. From juggling listings worth millions of dollars to steamy romances, the cast sure has their hands full.

Need a breakdown of who's who? You can get to know the cast of Selling Sunset below.

Chrishell Stause

Age: 40

Besides her work at the Oppenheim Group, you may recognize Stause from daytime television. She's held recurring roles on Days of Our Lives, The Young and The Restless, and All My Children. She was also a contestant on season 29 of Dancing with the Stars.

Stause is currently single, but was previously married to This Is Us star Justin Hartley, who filed for divorce from her in November 2019 via text message. They were married for two years and dated for four. In 2020, Stause was rumored to have been involved with her dance partner Gleb Savechenko, while competing on Dancing with the Stars. However, both Stause and Savechenko denied the rumors. She did, in fact, date her boss, Jason Oppenheim, from June to December of 2021.

In 2019, Stause lost her stepfather to lung cancer. The following year, she lost her mother to the same disease. While little is known about Stause's backstory, the Kentucky native has reflected on growing up in poverty throughout the series. She's even referred to herself as the "smelly kid" as she sometimes didn't have running water growing up. She recently revealed that she never met her biological father, but hopes to one day.

Stause gets along with all of the other agents at the Oppenheim Group except for Christine Quinn. You can learn more about their feud here.

Christine Quinn

Age: 33

Since the premiere of Selling Sunset in March 2019, Quinn has always been the queen bee of the group. The Texas native has always kept it real and is known for her no-nonsense attitude and over-the-top outfits. However, growing up she wasn't always as confident as she is today.

Quinn told Vogue that her mother was extremely ill during her teenage years. Because of this, Quinn dropped out of high school to care for her. While home school was the plan, Quinn never finished her high school education. "I’m really insecure about it," she told the outlet. However, she added "I don’t want people to think that a diploma is vital in order to be successful. It was something I wanted to forget, but I think it’s important I discuss it."

Prior to entering the real estate business, Quinn dabbled in acting. She held over 20 different acting roles in either films, TV shows, and even voiced a video game character. Her movie roles include Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Shark Night 3D, Humans vs Zombies, and more. Her TV appearances include cameos on NCIS: Los Angeles, Ballers, Drop Dead Diva, and more.

Currently, Quinn is married to Christian Richard, a 42-year-old retired software engineer, who she met through a friend (not when she sold him a house, as claimed on the show). Prior to her marriage, she had been engaged three different times but broke them all off. She explained during season one that she was raised Catholic and did not believe in divorce.

Maya Vander

Age: Early 30s

Maya Vander is one of the more serious-minded agents on Selling Sunset. According to her bio on the Oppenheim Group website, she grew up in Israel and moved to Los Angeles in 2002, noting that "the moment she arrived, it felt like home." The mom-of-two splits her time between Los Angeles and Miami, where her husband, whose identity has not been revealed, lives. She works for Douglas Elliman when she's in Florida. She speaks English, Dutch, and Hebrew.

Mary Fitzgerald

Age: 40

Before moving to LA, Fitzgerald lived in New York and London, where she learned a lot about the real estate business. She's previously worked for the Candy Brothers at their London headquarters and was involved in major real estate projects such as 1 Hyde Park.

Fitzgerald is married to Romain Bonnet. While fans were led to believe that she married Bonnet in October 2019 (as the series featured her lavish wedding during the season 2 finale), official documents show that the couple actually tied the knot in March 2018 in a courthouse wedding before the show started filming. Fitzgerald confirmed that despite signing the papers in 2018, her TV wedding "was absolutely real."

Before meeting Bonnet, she was married twice. She briefly mentioned in season one that her first husband passed away and her second marriage ended in divorce. She currently has one son, Austin, who is 24 years old. She gave birth to him when she was 16.

Fitzgerald also briefly dated her boss, Jason Oppenheim. While things didn't work out because he had commitment issues, they ended up co-parenting two dogs together and remain extremely close. Many of the other agents on the show claim Fitzgerald receives special treatment from Oppenheim.

Romain Bonnet

Age: 28

Bonnet is originally from France but met Fitzgerald while visiting Los Angeles. After hitting it off with her, he decided to move there and briefly worked as a pastry chef before becoming a model with Wilhelmina. He films video shout outs for fans for $100. He is 13 years younger than his wife, Mary Fitzgerald.

Heather Rae El Moussa

Age: 34

Heather Rae El Moussa is a former Playboy model. However, at age 27, she shifted gears and started studying to get her real estate license. A few months after passing the exam, she sold her first condo for $7.2 million... and the rest is history. In 2021, she married Flip or Flop's Tarek El Moussa.

After season 3 of Selling Sunset wrapped, Jason Oppenheim decided to open a brand new Oppenheim Group'office in Newport Beach. El Moussa, who currently resides in the Orange County town, was handpicked by Oppenheim to work out of this office.

Davina Potratz

Age: 44

Potratz, who also starred on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing, is a broker and former director of the New Development Division at the Oppenheim Group. She's often been pegged as the show's villian by fans; however, co-stars have argued that she got a bad edit. During season 2 and 3 of the docusoap, Potratz worked on one of the agency's top listings — a $75 million estate— which she was unable to sell.

After season 3 of Selling Sunset wrapped, Potratz left the Oppenheim Group to pursue a new role at Douglas Elliman. "It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision," she said of her decision.

Amanza Smith

Age: 45

Smith joined the Oppenheim Group during the second season of Selling Sunset as the in-house interior design expert and gained herself a reputation for being notoriously late. Prior to her design work, Smith had a successful run in the modeling and entertainment industry. She was an NFL cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts and has been featured in magazines, television commercials, and two seasons of the hit NBC game show Deal or No Deal where she was briefcase model 20.

She is a currently a single mom-of-two. Her ex-husband and the father of her children, former NFL player Ralph Smith, disappeared in 2019 and she has been unable to track him down. She also previously dated actor Taye Diggs.

Jason Oppenheim

Age: 45

Jason Oppenheim is the president and founder of the Oppenheim Group. He's been ranked the #1 real estate agent in the Hollywood Hills/West Hollywood area by the Wall Street Journal and named a top real estate agent in Los Angeles by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety in their annual lists. He has also appeared on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing.

His relationship with ex-girlfriend Mary Fitzgerald is often attacked on the show as the other agents believe he gives her special treatment. On the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat with Amanda Hirsch, Christine Quinn spoke about Jason's favoritism towards Mary. "Mary gets every single listing... and it's just so frustrating. He doesn't give it to anyone else," she says, adding that she and the other agents have discussed the topic frequently. As previously mentioned, he also dated fellow cast member Chrishell Stause, in 2021.

Prior to entering real estate, Oppenheim had a successful law career. He worked at O’Melveny & Myers where he handled many big-name clients. He even went on to represent a client in a United States Supreme Court... and win. However, Oppenheim left the practice to follow in the footsteps of five generations of his family. His great-great-grandfather, Jacob Stern, started one of Los Angeles's first real estate companies, The Stern Realty Co., in 1889. Since then, subsequent generations of the family have continued the legacy. Oppenheim started as an agent at Coldwell Banker; three years later he opened the Oppenheim Group. Currently, the Oppenheim Group boasts over a $1 billion in closed sales.

Brett Oppenheim

Age: 45

Brett Oppenheim is Jason's twin brother and former senior vice president at the Oppenheim Group. In August, it was revealed that he left the Oppenheim Group and started his own brokerage. However, this big career move has yet to be shown on the series.

Before getting into real estate, he worked as a securities litigation attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP. According to according to The Express, both Jason and Brett are 5-foot-6.

Vanessa Villela

Age: 44

Vanessa Villela was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and is a former actress, with appearances in numerous Mexican TV series, including: Romántica obsesión, Ellas, inocentes o culpables, Súbete a mi moto, Un nuevo amor, El cuerpo del deseo, Decisiones, and Amores de mercado. From 2009 to 2013, she was in a relationship with Cuban actor Mario Cimarro.

Emma Hernan

Age: 30

Emma Hernan is both the founder and CEO of Emma Leigh & Co., a plant-based food company that specializes in vegan empanadas. In Selling Sunset's new fifth season, she revealed that Ben Affleck asked her out via text a few times (before he got back with JLo), as they had matched on the celebrity dating app, Raya, but they never met up in person.

Chelsea Lazkani

Age: 29

Selling Sunset's youngest and newest cast member, Chelsea Lazkani, is British-Nigerian. She started dating her now-husband, Jeff Lazkani, in 2015, and they wed in 2017. Together, they have two children: Maddox Ali Lavon, 3, and Melia Man, 2.

Zelda and Niko

Zelda is the in-house bark-itect at the Oppenheim Group. Niko, her older brother, is the director of public (pup-lick) relations. Jason Oppenheim and Mary Fitzgerald co-parent these loyal workers.
