'Selling Sunset' Fans Are Shocked This Cast Member Isn't Returning for Season 7

Selling Sunset's highly anticipated season seven officially has a release date. The real estate reality show will return to Netflix with another 11-episode installment on November 3. Not only that, but we also have updates on the cast (including Heather Rae El Moussa's involvement) and sneak-peek images, which confirm the agents are taking a trip to The Oppenheim Group's Cabo San Lucas office in Mexico this season.
For starters, the cast featured in the promotional image for season seven includes Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Bre Tiesi, and Nicole Young. Many fans noticed that one of the show's OG stars Heather Rae El Moussa was missing from the photo. Heather addressed her absence via Instagram. She shared a photo of herself and the season seven promotional image, captioning it: "Looks like I got pushed in the water… its a good thing I can swim! Congrats to my girls on S7! 💗 You may see me in a few episodes….. 💁🏼♀️"
Many fans were upset by the news. One person commented on her post, "Selling Sunset is not Selling Sunset without Heather!!!!!!"
"Are you kidding me," another added. "You are the reason why I watch this show."
On the official Selling Sunset Instagram account's post, one person wrote: "See the running theme in comments on the girls' pages and on this thread.. cutting Heather was a mistake, and probably just because she didn't bring any drama. It'd be nice to take it back to season 1 - less drama & more real estate. Disappointed."
For what it's worth, Heather is still listed as an agent at The Oppenheim Group. And she's not completely leaving the small screen. The second season of her HGTV show The Flipping El Moussas is on the way.
Fans who are still eager to watch the upcoming season can get excited thanks to new photos. For starters, they reveal that the Los Angeles-based agents visit The O Group's Cabo office—where the cast of Selling the OC visited during the spin-off's second season. The L.A. agents possibly spend time working out of the Cabo office, as they can be seen sitting at the desks in one photo.
On Selling the OC, Jason told the OC agents that their clients are likely buying in Cabo. He brought them there to help sell the major project the brokerage is working on in the city: a $2 billion, 2,400-acre development on El Tule Beach. The project includes 50 oceanfront homes and 300 hillside homes. During the show, the OC agents toured two of the villas within the development. It's likely the L.A. agents will have the opportunity to do the same.
Along with the Cabo trip, another season seven sneak-peek photo features Chelsea's 30th birthday party. There's also an alfresco dinner party where some drama likely unfolds, considering Amanza Smith can be seen holding up her purse that reads "TELL THE TRUTH." The action seems to be directed at Nicole Young. If these early photos suggest anything, it's that Selling Sunset will return with more luxury homes to obsess over and plenty of coworker drama to entertain.
