Yes! Netflix confirmed in March 2021 that Selling Sunset had been renewed for two more seasons. While the streamer didn’t reveal a release date for Selling Sunset season 4 at the time, they did later confirm its release date, which you can find below.
Long before Netflix confirmed the series’ return, the Selling Sunset cast was busy dropping hints about Selling Sunset season 4 for months. In August 2020, Oppenheim Group realtor Christine Quinn hinted to Glamour UK, “I think if season four goes ahead, it is going to be the juiciest season ever.”
Days following Christine’s interview with the outlet, fellow real estate agent Chrishell Stause took to her Instagram to tease Selling Sunset fans even more. “Carpe Diem!! Celebrating good news we can’t tell you about,” she captioned a photo of herself and co-stars Heather Rae Young, Mary Fitzgerald, and Amanza Smith Brown on a boat. Fans immediately understood the caption as her subtle way of confirming that Selling Sunset season 4 was greenlit by Netflix.

There Are New Cast Members
Selling Sunset season 4 reportedly includes newbie real estate agents Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela. “They are in different stages in their real estate [careers] and obviously, it definitely stirs the pot a little bit,” Chrishell told Us Weekly in June 2021. “But I will say they’re really lovely.”
Brett Quit the Oppenheim Group
In her August 2020 interview with Glamour UK, Christine dropped a major bomb on the outlet: “Brett has left to start his own brokerage,” Christine confirmed at the time, referencing Oppenheim Group Senior Vice President, Brett Oppenheim. “The girls are fed up with the favoritism of Mary in the office, we don’t know who will move where,” Christine added. “It may be the battle of the brokerages! I think if season four goes ahead, it is going to be the juiciest season ever.”
The agent elaborated on the issue of Mary’s favoritism on an episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. Christine explained that the exes, who dated for two years before Selling Sunset, “have this really strong relationship and connection.”
“Mary gets every single listing. Jason just doesn’t want to do work so he just gives it to her. And it’s just so frustrating—he doesn’t give it to anyone else,” Christine explained. “So we’re all just like sick of it. If this favoritism continues, we’d absolutely [leave].” In true form, Christine ended the thought on a dramatic note. “I think that they’re both in love with each other,” she said, before adding, “in a platonic way.”
Maya Is Still on Selling Sunset
In an interview with Us Weekly in August 2020, Maya Vander denied Christine’s claims that she had quit Selling Sunset and the Oppenheim Group because she relocated to Miami. “I just heard that Christine said that I’m leaving the Oppenheim Group. So, I want to clarify something, it’s not true,” she said at the time. “I am with the Oppenheim Group. I’m actually working with a couple of pretty good, serious clients and I might have to fly to L.A. [soon]. Hopefully, COVID slows down a little bit so I’ll feel safe to fly and do a couple of showings.”
Maya explained that she splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles while working with the Oppenheim Group. “As far as Miami, I’ve been practicing real estate in Miami for the last three years. I’m here now. We’d love to collaborate with Jason on potentially something in Miami, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen,” she said. “So, I’m just going to do my transactions here regardless and for very high-end clients, I’m just going to continue to fly to L.A. if I need to, but definitely staying with the O Group.”
Davina Left The Oppenheim Group
Davina confirmed in October 2020 that she left The Oppenheim Group for the rival brokerage, Douglas Elliman. “I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division,” she told People at the time. “My background is in new development sales and marketing, so this is just a wonderful opportunity for me. It’s just very in tune with my skills.”
Davina told People at the time that she’s unsure she’ll still be a part of the Netflix show with her new job. “We all know each other so well,” she said. “So I think they’ll be excited and supportive. It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision. I certainly hope that I’m still part of the cast. Brett is not at the Oppenheim Group anymore either, so I don’t think that that’s going to be an issue at all.”
Season 4 May Be Christine’s Last
In an interview on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast in September 2020, Christine hinted that she wanted to leave The Oppenheim Group if “favoritism” toward Mary doesn’t stop. “I mean, Mary gets every single listing,” Quinn said. “And Jason just doesn’t want to do work. So he just gives it to her. And it’s just so frustrating. He doesn’t give it to anyone else. So we’re all just, like, sick of it…And we’re all like, would you ever leave? Totally, like if this continues, if this favoritism continues we’d absolutely.”
In October 2020, Christine told WSJ Magazine, Christina also suggested that season 4 could be her last. “It would be great to film the next season and then do my own thing because I feel like I have a lot to share with the world outside of real estate and fighting with bitches. Although don’t get me wrong, I love it and I’m great at it,” she said.
