'Selling the OC' Star Tyler Stanaland Is Leaving The Oppenheim Group

Selling the OC may be losing one of its OG stars after two seasons. Tyler Stanaland announced on Thursday that he's leaving The Oppenheim Group to work at Douglas Elliman.
“Leaving the Oppenheim Group wasn’t an easy decision, but is the right decision for me and my clients,” Tyler told People. “Not only am I joining my dad and brother at Douglas Elliman, I’m aligning with a brand that has unparalleled reach and presence in the market with a renowned network of agents and industry leaders.”
Before joining The Oppenheim Group in 2021, Tyler worked alongside his dad at the family brokerage called the John Stanaland Group for 12 years. The John Stanaland Group became part of Douglas Elliman in January. At the time, the agency announced that Tyler's dad John Stanaland and his 11-member team would be based out of Elliman's Newport Beach office.
When People asked about what this career move means for Tyler's role in Selling the OC, he responded,"Selling the OC revolves around agents at the Oppenheim Group. As of today, I will be working at Douglas Elliman."
While it seems likely that Tyler will no longer be a cast member of the real estate reality show, that doesn't completely rule out he won't be on it. He could make appearances that involve meeting up with his friends on the show. During season two, he was potentially exploring a romantic relationship with Alex Hall. The pair could still be navigating that on or off camera. Fans can also find hope in the recent news that Heather Rae El Moussa is no longer a cast member on Selling Sunset but shared that viewers may still see her in a few episodes. Should Tyler no longer appear on Selling the OC, perhaps a new agent will enter the scene.
