Selena Gomez loves some pink nails. She invented “Bubblegum Disco” nails, has worn pastel pink nails during the peak of Barbiecore, and went full Y2K with a hot pink square set. And while the shade is most associated with spring and summer, Gomez is keeping her love of pink going with her latest manicure.

The actor is bucking the idea that fall nails are limited to neutral, dark, and earthy tones and is keeping the colorful vibes going with a pop of neon hot pink to kick off the change of seasons.

Done by her longtime nail artist, Tom Bachik, her latest manicure was medium-short and natural shaped. Each had an ultra-glossy coat of piercing neon pink that really popped against her all-black outfit.

Along with her hair in a straight middle-part, some subtle pink blush, and an ultra-faint smoky eye, Gomez was wearing a grungy black ensemble consisting of an all-over fringe skirt with hardware details, a zipper detailed jacket, and chunky platform loafers.

The Rare Beauty founder also wore the manicure to watch a soccer game with her bestie Nicola Peltz-Beckham in Los Angeles, where she paired the neon nails with a bright white halter top and a slicked-back bun.

If you want to replicate Gomez’s rule-breaking fall mani, luckily for you, Bachik gave us the exact shades needed for the “perfect neon pink.”

First, he prepped her nails with his Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set 2022 ($59) collaboration—filing, cutting, buffing and trimming her cuticles with the tools.

Though Bachick didn’t say whether or not he used a base coat, it would be smart to apply a layer of your favorite one before going in with a few coats of the PLA Executive Sweet gel polish ($13) and sealing it all together with the same brand’s Non-Wipe Top Coat ($12).

For a drugstore option, try OPI’s La Paz-Itively Hot ($12) and their Top Coat ($11). Also, for that extra nail salon touch, go in with some nail oil on top for the strength and health of your nails, plus extra longevity.
