Valentine's Day might still be over a month away, but if you're already looking for makeup inspiration like we are, well, look no further than Selena Gomez's latest beat for Rare Beauty. It's rosy, fresh, and romantic all at the same time — and it couldn't be more perfect for the love-filled holiday.
The look was first revealed by Hung Vanngo, who's been Gomez's go-to makeup artist for quite some time now. His post features a selfie of the singer in pink eye shadow and red lipstick, along with the caption: "#SelenaGomez (@selenagomez) from today RareBeauty (@rarebeauty) ❤️🌟⚡️💫✨⭐️." He then included a full breakdown of the Rare Beauty products that he used to create the look.
Some of the products Vanngo used include the brand's Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation, the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight in Mesmerize, the new Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Apricot, and the Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream in Inspire. Additionally, he created a bushy feathered brow using the Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel in the cool brown color.
As for her rosy eye shadow, it seems that it might be an unreleased product from the brand, seeing as Vanngo simply added the eyes emoji and a smiley face next to the eye shadow category, rather than listing what product he used. That being said, you could likely get a very similar effect using the new Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Nearly Rose, which is a soft tea rose pink hue.
The great thing about this look is that it can be easily achieved at home using products that you already have in your own collection. All you really need is a matte red lipstick that's not too pink or too blue, some muted pink eye shadow, and a peachy-bronze blush to add warmth and definition to the face. And that's that, folks.
Thanks for the inspiration, Gomez and Vanngo.
