Selena Gomez went full-blown disco over the weekend, living her best life as she rocked a sparkly look that was reminiscent of the 1970s. The singer appeared on the Instagram stories of artist Petra Collins, dancing the night away in a two-piece set that featured a bandeau top and high-waisted flare pants. Oh, and did we mention that the whole look was created of a sheer sequin-covered fabric?

Last week, lip kit maven Kylie Jenner reminded us of this exact Barbie-inspired color palette when she donned a shorts jumpsuit that was covered in light pink Swarovski crystals to her post-birthday bash. This time around, Selena gave a nod to the hue in a different silhouette but with the same playful appeal that is sure to be on the cusp of blowing up your Instagram feed. As she danced to Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You,” flipping her hair back and forth, Selena was also seen in a diamond choker and her signature oversized hoop earrings.

While we might need a few more subtle stepping stones before being able to rock this look like Selena, she and Kylie both have inspired us to infuse a little more sparkly glamour into our everyday wardrobes this fall—morning, noon, and night.
