Selena Gomez Wears Red, White and Blue for a Reunion with “Wizards of Waverly Place” Star David Henrie
Selena Gomez celebrated the Fourth of July in style, complete with her take of all things red, white, and blue for a day of festivities that also included a mini Wizards of Waverly Place reunion.
The singer-songwriter, who was just spotted matching with Meghan Markle, made a patriotic statement in a bright and bold red corduroy jacket from Brandy Melville. Along with the jacket, she wore black denim pants, and a custom Raglan tee that read "Tia Mouse." The nod to her role as aunt came as the former Disney Channel star spent the day at Disneyland with her IRL family and a member of her former Disney family.
In three photos posted to her Instagram, Selena captured the mini reunion that occurred with former Wizards costar David Henrie. "Family vacation vibes," she wrote alongside the first photo. The second photo offered a reference to their once sibling status with the caption "Brudder & sissy," and the final photo featured one last look of the duo, as Selena wished her followers well. "Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Spent mine with some of my favorite people @disney," she wrote.
Along with leaving us pining for a red corduroy jacket of our own, Selena also gave us some serious hair inspiration. Perhaps inspired by everyone's favorite super hero Sailor Moon, Selena rocked two mini buns on the top of her head. She carried the day's color scheme into her scrunchies, and used one red and one blue hair accessory to wrap the buns. The look was completed by a pair of sunglasses, simple silver hoops, and white Puma sneakers.
Fans have certainly gotten their fill of unexpected Wizards reunions. Selena previously crashed David's date night, and former star Jennifer Stone shared her night of magic with costars on Instagram last year. And TBQH, all these hangs have us feeling sentimental for the Disney Channel series. Looks like we'll just have to keep hoping for that reboot.
