Selena Gomez Wears Chic Alaïa Crop Top and Mini Skirt In Paris

On Friday, July 8, pop star Selena Gomez arrived at a Sephora Store in Paris for her European Rare Beauty press tour wearing a throwback Alaïa look. The two piece outfit included a knitted jacquard plaid top and matching mini-skirt, and she carried the black “Le Coeur” bag from Winter Spring 2022, which is shaped like a heart.
She accessorized with bright white pump heels and large hoops. Gomez left her hair down, but it was partially slicked back, giving the outfit even more of a '60s feel. The trip fell during Paris Fashion Week, so it makes sense that Gomez went all out for her tour. She stopped to smile and wave at the crowd that had gathered to see her outside the store.
Gomez launched a new matte lipstick and liner collection for Rare Beauty, which is a beauty brand that is vegan and cruelty-free, in late June. She has been busy promoting her new hit on Hulu, Only Murders In The Building, which she co-stars in with legendary comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short. On June 27, she attended their season 2 premiere in Los Angeles, wearing a glamorous floor-length gown that also had a classic feel—though this look was more old Hollywood.
The single-sleeve Michael Kors gown was made of shimmering silver material and had a few modern touches, like a side cut-out and a thigh high slit that almost connected with the strategic window. She also wore that dress with hoops, diamond by Effy Jewelry, and had her hair swept back into a wavy pony tail.
There's even more on Gomez's plate than a budding beauty empire and an acting career. She recently told Entertainment Tonight during a red carpet interview that she’s also working on new music.
“It’s just been a little hectic with this,” she said. “But I am in the studio. I’m excited.”
