Selena Gomez embraced New York City's beloved all-black uniform today, stepping out on the set of Only Murders in the Building in a black blouse, trousers, and a long coat. She carried one of her dogs—seemingly her younger dog Daisy—with her on set and accessorized with a gold necklace and hoop earrings, plus a black mask. Gomez looked chic, naturally, and so did her pup:

Gomez arrived on set in a different outfit: a long peach coat, sweatpants, and Uggs; her dog was with her. Comfort first:

Gomez's set appearance comes one day after her interview with Vogue came out. Gomez spoke to the outlet about how she has purposely been off social media for three years.

“I woke up one morning and looked at Instagram, like every other person, and I was done,” Gomez recalled. “I was tired of reading horrible things. I was tired of seeing other people’s lives. After that decision, it was instant freedom. My life in front of me was my life, and I was present, and I could not have been more happy about it.”

Since then, Gomez has her assistant post photos and text to her Instagram and Twitter. “Everyone always asks me, ‘Are you secretly on; are you lying?’ and I’m like, ‘I have no reason to lie,’” Gomez said.

Gomez also told Vogue that she wants to prioritize her acting career now and may even retire from music after one last album.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously [because they see your tabloid celebrity image first],” Gomez said. “I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ ‘Lose You to Love Me’ I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people it still wasn’t enough. I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music.”

When pressed on whether she'd actually stop making music, she clarified that she wants to spend more time producing and to “give myself a real shot at acting.”
